Nucleus Hives
A Nucleus hive contains 5 frames of Italian Bees. Included will be frames containing pollen, honey, brood, drawn comb, an empty frame, bees, and a queen. Once you reserve your Nuc you will be notified as they come available. All nucs are sold with a queen established to that colony.

$150 with purchase of complete setup
$165 with scheduled appointment. You may drop off your equipment or borrow a transportation box for a $25 deposit.

The Beekeeping Experience
This class will give you all the knowledge necessary to start beekeeping successfully. The class will begin at 10am and teach you how to begin, what is necessary, and what to do. The class begins with an open forum classroom like atmosphere and hands on demonstrations. Later we will be doing outdoor open hive inspections for some hands on experience (weather permitting.) You can then leave with a Nuc(s) if you choose. The Nuc price will be $150 with a $100 deposit per Nuc. Once you sign up you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. The class will be held in Hattiesburg, MS. ***No Nucs will be sold between October-February as growing bee is seasonal Class cost: $45. With class purchase you will receive $15 off Nuc cost!

Join a beekeeper in an hour and a half experience managing and learning all about honey bees. You will be suited out in protective gear and join a beekeeper in an in hive inspection. You will learn all about honeybees daily activities and sample honey straight from the hive. After you will have the opportunity to sample various honeys and honey butters. All people 10 and up are invited to join. Discounts will be given to groups 4 or more. Schedule an appointment today!
